Timeframe 2018 – Forever

February 2018 I decided to dive head first into grass fed porterhouse or NY Strip for the yanks, with the occasional ribeye full-time. I gave myself a couple of weeks of purely eating these for 3 meals a day before reintroducing different things to see how I’d react.

Timeframe 2017 – 2018

I had always hated my vegetables and I mean hated. I used to be forced to sit at the table until I'd eaten all my dinner... most times this was in the form of broccoli, peas, carrots and potato covered in tomato sauce as I wouldn’t otherwise eat them. If it was too difficult that night a lot of my peas and broccoli would end up hidden under the fridge, minus the sauce. This was reserved for the potato only.

Timeframe 2014 – 2017

Enter my low carb high fat phase or low carb healthy fat as it was later coined! This was an absolute game changer for me despite only improving some of my health issues and introducing some new ones. It was like I’d been living in a fog all my life that had finally been lifted and I could finally see everything for what it was. I actually believe my eye sight improved too. Everything appears more vibrant in colour these days. It was also at this time that I decided to give up alcohol for good. How unaustralian of me.

Timeframe Birth – 2014

Growing up in modern Australia I followed a typical Aussie kid diet. This consisted of lots of take away, bread, pasta, cereal, potato, bad oils and easily enough sugar to make the sweetest toothed sick. Just imagine a breakfast of coco pops with at minimum an added 6 heaped teaspoons of sugar... at the end of my meal anything remaining in the bowl was slurped up and scooped out as to not waste any of that precious sugar to get me through my day. Morning tea was some form of biscuits, lunch was sandwiches then afternoon tea more biscuits, milo and whatever other sugar rubbish I could get my hands on to tide me over till dinner. There was always some form of sweet drink mixed in their as well. Whether it be milk based or soft drink. I really didn't consume much water at all. Dessert was a staple.
